Daniel J. McKay - President/Managing Broker

Dan McKay, President of McKay Investment Realty, Inc., began his real estate career in 1977 and since then has been involved, has been involved in numerous transactions involving industrial, office, retail, land and apartment properties. He was appointed Exclusive Broker by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Grabil-Stoecher bankruptcy, and successfully sold the real estate portfolio of Office, Retail and Industrial buildings. He was also the single Real Estate Broker responsible for the sale of the Builders Plumbing Real Estate Portfolio located in 4 states and has been quoted as an expert in respected trade journals. Dan is licensed in Illinois and Florida.

Dan's dedication to each project and energy level to sustain until the deal is done, has enabled him to excel not only in concluding difficult Receiverships, but also in seeking out the right buyers for varied properties. He is a strong negotiator, and his win-win approach has saved many deals that otherwise would not have been consummated.

Dan has lived in Chicago all his life. He is a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School and St. Benedicts' College in Kansas.

Taryn Minogue - Broker Associate/Property Manager

Taryn began working with McKay Investment Realty, Inc. in 2009 as an executive assistant and property manager.

She was recently responsible for managing operations of 600,000 SF retail portfolio consisting of 20 properties and 200+ tenants.

Taryn was recently Assistant General Manager for 10 & 120 South Riverside Plaza ( 1.4 million SF), The Old Post Office (2.5 million SF) and 333 South Wabash (1.2 million SF).

In addition to her management proficiencies, she was also leader of a 60-person team consisting of administrative staff, building engineers, janitorial, and security professionals.

Taryn attended Grand Valley State University and obtained her bachelor's degree from the Seidman College of Business with a double major of Business and Finance and Business Economics of Real Estate.

Jonathan Gil - Broker Associate

Jonathan Gil is a second-generation real estate broker and licensed general contractor. He has worked with both federal and private financial institutions to assist in the management, preservation and disposition of real estate and represented clients on the acquisition of all asset classes ranging from industrial to apartment complexes. Jonathan has underwritten thousands of deals for one of the largest private equity firms in the world.

Jonathan obtained his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois and is bilingual in both English and Spanish.

Tricia Jackson handles all our office operations as well as managing all account activity, properties and responsibilities of A/R and A/P including invoicing and vendor/customer relationships. She has 20 years of experience in property management, overseeing and managing daily operations for HOA’s including single family homes, townhomes and condominiums, apartment buildings, retail and office buildings.
